Source Dismisses Dak Prescott ‘Mystery Injury’ Rumors as ‘Waste of Time!’

A Dallas Cowboys source is responding to the rumor that quarterback Dak Prescott is dealing with a “mystery injury” that recently required an MRI as he’s not presently “100-percent” healthy.

5 things to know about Dak Prescott's injury: When will the Cowboys' QB return?

That’s according to “professional sports bettor” Steve Fezzik.

“The news is that Dak is not 100 percent,” Fezzik said on The Ross Tucker podcast. “The rumor is that he had an MRI … That’s unconfirmed.”

That is indeed “unconfirmed” … making it irresponsible to say such a thing. … but causing CowboysCountry.com to chase down a source close to the situation who tells us in no uncertain terms …

Fezzik’s point is that gamblers are suddenly “betting against the Cowboys the last three days” may be legitimate.

But in addition to our source’s dismissal, what we also know: The Pro Bowl quarterback was a full participant in minicamps here inside The Star last month, and as of 12 days ago he was attendance and working out at Tight End University. (photo credits te_university).

The Cowboys, of course, have their hands full with Prescott-related drama as they are locked in a contract extension stalemate with the team leader, who is on the final year of his existing deal and may be destined to eventually make something approaching $60 million annually, which would make him the highest-paid player in NFL history.
