Patrick Mahomes’ dad, Patrick Mahomes Sr., enjoyed a neat outing as he watched the Kansas City Chiefs shut the Baltimore Ravens down to lock up a second successive trip to the Super Bowl on Sunday night and had a quick go at Lamar Jackson after the win.
The former MLB star was among those celebrating down on the field in the wake of the AFC Championship being retained by Kansas City. At one point, he pulled out a cigar which he claimed was a “special blend Lamar Jackson” he had flown in from Cuba for the occasion.
Check it out below:

If he really did have them flown in from Cuba, U.S. Customs might have something to say given that Cuban cigars are prohibited in the United States. Still, this was all done in good fun and we’re not going to take him seriously.
The Ravens were favored to go to the Super Bowl after a spectacular run, with Jackson likely to be named MVP. However, their offense struggled immensely and could only put 10 points on the board, with the QB passing for 272 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
The Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas on February 11.
