KANSAS City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is hoping Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce go the distance together.
Butker revealed in an interview with EWTN’s “In Depth” that he has big wishes for the superstar couple.
Butker explained that he was so impressed when he first met Swift about how humble she was and how interested she was in the game of football.
“I wouldn’t say I’m a Swiftie, but I got to meet her after our New Year’s game, we had just clinched the AFC West,” Butker said.
“I rarely go out ever, but it’s New Year’s so you gotta get the champagne and enjoy the ball dropping and all of that stuff.
“So I went to the party, and this was very tame, I wore a suit and tie to the party. But Travis showed up and Taylor was there and I got to meet her.
“She was so humble and so gracious. I don’t think she grew up a football fan so everything for her is so cool, and especially as a kicker she thinks that’s amazing that I can kick the ball so far through the uprights.
“I was a little nervous to meet her, it’s Taylor Swift. So maybe I am a Swiftie if I was nervous.”
It was such a great first impression for Butker that he is wishing for Taylor and Travis to get married and have children together.
“It was a great experience and I can’t say enough great things about her,” Butker said.
“I hope they get married and start a family.”
Things are going very well for Taylor and Travis, who are relaxing on the West Coast together, according to People.
“They are spending time in Los Angeles together,” an insider told People.
“They’re still very happy. They’re so cute together.”
According to a source from US Weekly, the couple’s families are growing happier with their relationship as well and everyone is getting very close.
“Both of their families love them as a couple. Taylor has become even more close with Travis’ mom, [Donna],” per Us Weekly.
“Taylor has really been integrated into the family.”
