Josh Allen and Daniel Ricciardo are taking their friendship to a new level as they debut a new joint-partnership in a commercial for Beats headphones. The Buffalo Bills quarterback and Formula 1 driver have been friends since 2019 according to Ricciardo and have teamed up for the commercial titled “The Legend of Ricallen.”

Ricciardo spoke to US Weekly about the commercial and their friendship, which he confirmed was a ‘bromance’:

“I was in-season, it was his offseason and he came to visit me. It was definitely before midday and he shotgunned a beer. He’s one of the friends I grew up with. He’s one of us.”

Although Josh Allen didn’t give more information about his beer consumption, he did say he enjoys his friendship with Ricciardo:

“I’m lucky to call Daniel a friend. He’s a great guy and we have a lot of fun whenever we can catch up given our schedules.”

Allen and Ricciardo’s commercial for “Beats” was officially released on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

In May 2023, Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld first sparked rumors that they were dating after they were seen out together in New York. The couple has since kept a low profile and the details of their relationship off of social media, until this week.

As the offseason came to a conclusion this week, the Buffalo Bills quarterback gave a recap of his summer. Included in the carousel of photos were several snapshots of him and Hailee Steinfeld.

The first photo was of the couple looking out at the Eiffel Tower during a trip to Paris earlier this offseason. The quarterback even shared a photo of his split pants from the trip to Paris. The Bills quarterback’s post gained over 250,000 likes in just over 24 hours.
