Jason Kelce is showing off the latest addition to his family.
The retired NFL player, 36, introduced fans to Nessie, his family’s new energetic pet, on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Travis Kelce.
“Have you seen Nessie yet? Our new puppy?” Jason asked his brother, to which he responded, “I have been watching that 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 wolf, that coyote walking around behind you for the past like five minutes.”
The former Philadelphia Eagles star then called the white and gray Irish wolfhound over to him and held her up to the camera before saying, “Come on Ness. Oh, say hi to everybody.”

“Oh, that is a good looking pup right there,” Travis, 34, interjected. “That’s a good looking pup.”
Jason appeared to laugh as he got some dog kisses from Nessie, though he warned his brother on the podcast that while the pup looked innocent, she could be a handful.
“She’s coming off real sweet right now. She is a terror,” Jason joked. Like, [she] can get up on the sink already, pulling dishes out with her teeth.”

“She’s the most food aggressive dog we’ve ever had in our life,” he added. “Any door that has like that little, that little hinge [doorknob], she gets up and she hits it, pulls it open. I’m like what the f— is this dog?”
This comes six months after Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce revealed that their family dog Winnie, who was also an Irish wolfhound, had died in a post on Instagram. She paid tribute to the family’s beloved pet, sharing that she always wanted an Irish Wolfhound, and “holy s— did [Winnie] live up to the hype.”
“She was everything I had hoped for in a wolfie and more,” Kylie captioned a photo of Winnie. “I lost part of my soul today, but I know she is at peace. I love you, Winn. You will always be my first 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.”

While the family is fond of dogs, Jason has previously shared that he draws the line at getting a cat. In last week’s New Heights episode, he shared his plans on the podcast to “divert” his wife and their three daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 18 months from bringing a feline home.
“You know what my latest plan to divert our family from getting a cat is? I just keep telling our girls that cats are poisonous,” Jason explained. “… So that they don’t want cats. And I don’t have to deal with having a cat and make them terrified.”
Jason reiterated later in the podcast, “I just don’t want a cat,” adding,“I don’t want another animal in the house. My dogs have already ruined the furniture.”
Despite this, he noted that he would possibly be open to having an outdoor cat should his girls still want one, as he thinks that cats are “fine if they stay outside.”
“I’ll do an outdoor cat. I’m okay with an outdoor cat,” he said.
