San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Jon Feliciano has some explaining to do.
During a week 13 matchup with the 49ers, Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter alleges that Feliciano ““spoke on his dead teammate” which led to him being emotional at the end of the game.
Carter made the allegations on Instagram as he screenshotted an X post about Feliciano blaming teammate Spencer Buford for missing a crucial block that allowed a free rusher at Brock Purdy in Super Bowl 58.
He wrote underneath, “Same dude who spoke on my dead teammate and the reason I was emotional during our game mmh.”
While at the University of George, Carter was involved in a car accident hours after a parade celebrating Georgia’s National Championship title in 2023. Teammate Devin Willock and staff member Chandler Lecroy were killed in the accident. Two others were injured.
Carter plead no contest to charges of racing and reckless driving. He did not serve any jail time and was sentenced to probation for the accident.
Carter was drafted 9th overall by the Eagles in the 2023 NFL Draft and had a nice rookie season as he finished second behind Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. for the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year.
