There’s an old saying that you have no doubt heard at some point during all of your years of watching football. ‘Once a Raider, always a Raider’. For the sake of this one, we’ll borrow that and add some Philadelphia Eagles-tinged phrasing. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
As lovers of Birds football. we tend to keep up with what former Birds are doing, both players and coaches. The legends always seem to move the needle. One of our favs, DeSean Jackson has always been a must-follow on social media. Wouldn’t you know it? He must have heard the Dallas Cowboys had a game to play on Sunday.
As Sunday’s Wild Card Round games approached, we were all certain of two things. One, we were all Green Bay Packers fans for a day. Second, if The Cheeseheads won and Philly dropped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night, The Pack would travel to Philly in the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs.

At the time of this story’s release, the Cowboys are down 27-7 and are stinking it up versus the Packers. Who knows? Maybe Dallas is tanking for Bill Belichick. Then again, it would never work. Good ol’ Jerry Jones would never hire a head coach he can’t control.
