San Francisco 49ers wideout Brandon Aiyuk’s girlfriend spilled the tea about what life is like being married to an NFL player, and she called BS on a rumored sex rule that some players follow.
In a recent TikTok video, Rochelle Searight didn’t hold back while sharing “juicy things I didn’t know when [I] became an NFL significant other.”
“Number one,” Searight said. “When you travel to an away game with your boo and you stay in the same hotel, y’all can’t sleep in the same room — and they got security to make sure that those rules aren’t broken.”
Searight explained that players are subjected to being fined if they break curfew and are caught in their room with a woman.
“The players also can’t come back past their curfew and if these rules are broken, they could get fined,” she said. “And I ain’t talking no like speeding ticket fine — I’m talking close to $10,000, or lose your job for having a woman in the room.”
Searight went on to discuss how some athletes are superstitious about having sex before games for fear it will negatively impact their performance.
“I think that it’s BS,” she said. “I think it’s a lie.”
Additionally, things can get tense in the 49ers family, especially during the season.
“Everybody gets sick of each other, the men, the women,” Searight said. “You think it’s all just one big happy family, which I mean, yes it is, but at the same time … the big happy family needs a break from each other.
“Once September hits, there are no breaks and you’ve just seen everybody back to back and sometimes animosity builds up and some people want to beat each other up.
“[People are tired in November and December], but in the end, we’re one big happy family and it’s a good time. But when the offseason comes, everybody has a weight lifted off their shoulders.”
Searight also revealed that WAGs have to pay for their own NFL tickets — which Sydney Warner, the wife of 49ers Pro Bowl linebacker Fred Warner, also said in a separate TikTok video in February titled, “NFL secrets.”
