‘Tis the damn season for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to spend Christmas together.
The Kansas City Chiefs player revealed his holiday plans on Wednesday’s “New Heights” podcast episode.
The athlete, 35, will play the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.
He did not mention whether Swift, also 35, will be present in Pennsylvania for the match, but the Grammy winner does not often attend away games.
Kelce did, however, insist that he was not “going to harp” on having to be on the field Christmas Day, instead feeling “excited.”
The two-time Super Bowl winner gushed, “I’ll play whenever, wherever. I just know that I’m so fortunate to be able to play this game that I’m gonna cherish every time I get to play on this field.”
He joked that his body was less enthused about the Dec. 25 game, which will air as a Netflix special.
The “Catching Kelce” alum added that he believes the Christmas Day game — as part of three games in 11 days — to be a “challenge” from the NFL, which he “accept[s].”
He said, “I think it’s gonna make it feel that much better if we can get out of this little three-game stretch with three wins. Make us feel a little bit more confident that we can get after it against some of the best teams week to week to week.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Kelce hinted at his retirement timeline while discussing last Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns in his hometown.
The tight end called the win his “last hurrah” in Huntington Bank Field.
“I’ve only played there twice in 12 years, so unless we get thrown out there in the next couple, I don’t see it ever really happening again,” he told listeners.
Kelce did not speak about Swift’s “meaningful” birthday celebration over the weekend.
He “showered” his partner with gifts, from engraved jewelry to “countless roses,” a source told Page Six on Monday.
Travis and Jason Kelce did, however, tease a “very special” guest for their Jan. 2 episode that fans have been “demanding,” with many speculating the pop star will finally make her “New Heights” debut.
She and the NFL player have been an item since last summer and spent Thanksgiving with both of their families last month.
The celebration was a “really important” milestone for the couple, we’re told.
